DESIGN AF’s team has been in the construction industry collectively for over a decade. We want to use our relationships with local and global vendors to help you become fully immersed in the process. We are experts in interior architecture, project management, and product specification and will guide you from start to finish.

DESIGN AF does not have one specific style. We are constantly doing market research to find new ways to bring a space to life while paying homage to historic architectural styles. We are passionate about design and love what we do.
Interior Design Services
Kitchen Design
We create beautifully functional kitchens by designing custom cabinets and countertops, make appliance and plumbing specifications, and make all details specific to you. We show these designs in both 2D and 3D.
furniture selection
We take extra care in styling a home with finishing details. We create a spreadsheet of recommended furnishings accompanied by mood boards to help you make selections.
luxury rentals
We specialize in creating a turn-key rental for you as an investment. This can range from renovation of an existing property to design and construction of a new home. We then furnish and fully outfit this rental to managed by you or a third party company.
project management
We have a unique understanding of the construction industry at DESIGN AF. We enjoy working with real estate developers and property owners to help them budget and manage their construction projects.
Space Planning
We use state of the art 2D programs to map out floor plans, elevations, and reflected ceiling plans of your space and give you a visual representation of what it could look like. These plans can then be used to further the design.
Bathroom Design
By taking on site measurements we can create plans for your dream bathroom. We will make all selections of tile, plumbing, and lighting to create a cohesive space for you.
custom homes
If you’re working with a custom home builder and haven’t hired an interior designer, give us a call! We are here to guide you and be your advocate throughout each step of the way. We will assist with all of the selections that need to be made while keeping an eye out for key times
staging
Decorating may not be all we do, but we sure love to do it! We can assist staging just one room, or an entire home, and accent completely with artwork and decor. This can be for personal use, or staging for a real estate photo shoot.
Renderings
We use state of the art 3D modeling programs to map out your space with materials and details to show you what your space would look like in real life. We can even build multiple iterations to show you what kind of options you have.
Residential Renovation
Whether you have a contractor or need us to provide the labor, we can renovate anything. Let us draft out plans, show you renderings, and make all of the necessary selections.
Commercial Design
Whether your space just needs an update or you are rebranding your business, DESIGN AF can help. We take on commercial projects of all shapes and sizes. We can assist with anything from offices, healthcare, multi-family apartments, and retail.
custom casework
We work with both local and national vendors to create custom casework that fits your needs. This could be as small as a few built in shelves, designing custom kitchen cabinets, or custom closets and shelving systems.

Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture from the University of Tennessee and a sharp eye for style, Amanda brings precision, creativity, and a global perspective to every project. Her love for travel, culture, and luxury shines through in designs that exude confidence and individuality.
From luxury penthouses to boutique hotels, Amanda doesn’t just design spaces – she transforms them into experiences that inspire and empower.
Amanda’s fondest travel memory is hang gliding in the Swiss Alps.
Katie Williams
VP of Design, Design AF
With over 14 years of experience in the design industry, Katie Williams is a seasoned expert in kitchen, lighting, and bath design, known for her meticulous attention to detail and ability to bring bold visions to life. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Middle Tennessee State University and has successfully managed a multitude of projects for local builders, earning a reputation for delivering seamless, high-quality results.
Since joining Design AF in 2022, Katie has become an integral part of the team, combining her technical expertise with her passion for creating spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. Her deep understanding of construction, paired with her collaborative approach, ensures that every project is executed with precision and creativity.
Katie’s ability to transform ideas into extraordinary spaces makes her an invaluable asset to the Design AF family and an inspiration to everyone she works with.
Katie’s fondest travel memory is biking down the Haleakala Volcano in Maui.
Ellie Deputy
Project Manager, Design AF
Ellie joined Design AF in January 2024, bringing a fresh perspective and a passion for creating transformative spaces. With a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture from the University of Tennessee, Ellie specializes in managing residential and commercial remodels, ensuring every project is seamless, functional, and beautifully tailored to her clients’ needs. Her curiosity, dedication, and global perspective make her an essential part of the Design AF team.
Ellie’s most cherished memories is living in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she spent three months immersing herself in Scandinavian design and exploring Sweden and Norway.
Katie Elder
The Design Center and Luxury Property Manager, Design AF
Katie joined Design AF in 2024, bringing with her over six years of expertise in operations research and advisory sales. As the Marketing & Luxury Property Manager, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the brand presence, while also overseeing operations for the company’s luxury rentals and flagship properties. Her sharp eye for detail and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable part of the Design AF team.
Katie’s fondest travel memory is visiting Scotland and watching Highland Games.
